Easy Lattice Modifier Addon

The Lattice Modifier Creator Addon enhances Blender's modeling capabilities by providing a set of tools for creating and managing lattice modifiers. Designed with efficiency and flexibility in mind, this addon streamlines the workflow for users working with complex deformations.

This addon creates a lattice for multiple selected objects, ensuring correct dimensions and position for precise deformation.

Panel: Add Lattice Modifier

Box: Create Lattice

This section allows you to create a new lattice modifier for selected mesh objects.

1. U Resolution
   • Description: Set the resolution of the lattice in the U direction.
   • Control: Integer property field.
2. V Resolution
   • Description: Set the resolution of the lattice in the V direction.
   • Control: Integer property field.
3. W Resolution
   • Description: Set the resolution of the lattice in the W direction.
   • Control: Integer property field.
4. Interpolation Type
   • Description: Select the initial interpolation type for the lattice.
   • Control: Enum property field with options:
     • Linear
     • Cardinal
     • Catmull-Rom
     • BSpline (default)
5. Create Lattice
   • Description: Create a new lattice based on the selected mesh objects.
   • Control: Button that triggers the creation of the lattice.

Box: Edit Lattice (Visible only when a lattice is selected)

This section allows you to edit the properties of the selected lattice object.

1. Resolution
   • Description: Adjust the resolution of the lattice.
   • Controls:
     • U: Integer property field.
     • V: Integer property field.
     • W: Integer property field.
2. Interpolation
   • Description: Adjust the interpolation type of the lattice.
   • Controls:
     • U: Enum property field.
     • V: Enum property field.
     • W: Enum property field.
3. Use Outside
   • Description: Enable or disable the use outside option for the lattice.
   • Control: Checkbox.
4. Vertex Group
   • Description: Assign a vertex group to the lattice.
   • Control: Property search field to select vertex groups.

Box: Lattice Modifiers (Visible only when there are lattice modifiers)

This section manages the lattice modifiers applied to the selected objects.

1. Remove Lattices After an Action
   • Description: Option to remove lattices after applying or removing modifiers.
   • Control: Checkbox.
2. Apply All
   • Description: Apply all lattice modifiers to the selected objects.
   • Control: Button.
3. Remove All
   • Description: Remove all lattice modifiers from the selected objects.
   • Control: Button.
4. List of Lattice Modifiers
   • Description: List and manage individual lattice modifiers for the selected object.
   • Controls:
     • Apply: Apply the selected lattice modifier.
     • Remove: Remove the selected lattice modifier.
